LEADERSHIP



LEAD PASTOR
David Reusch

In 2003, after pastoral ministry in Texas and Connecticut, David accepted the position of lead pastor at New Song Assembly. As lead pastor, he guides the various ministries of the church and proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor David follows a collaborative-style of leadership that encourages involvement from everyone. David also works to create an environment that inspires, and is in keeping with the church motto: A place to... be loved - belong - believe. Pastor David and his wife Robin, who also serves as the children's ministry leader, have two grown sons: David, who is a youth pastor in Maryland and Thomas , a youth pastor in Michigan.


TEACHING PASTOR
John Holmes

John and his wife Brenda are long-time members of New Song. In 2004, John accepted the position of teaching pastor. As a Bible teacher, John communicates the word of God in such a way that its meaning is easily understood and its implications embraced. John & Brenda co-facilitate LifeLessons -- our discipleship & mentoring ministry to adults, youth and children. They are the proud parents of Johnathon and Alexa. Johnathon is a currently a student at Holy Cross and Alexa, though still in high school, is an active member of the New Song youth community - leading in the worship arts.

YOUTH LEADERS
Staci Gingerella and Geoff Girardin

Staci Gingerella and Geoff Girardin are two young adults that are on fire for God and for the youth of our area. Staci is one of our Sunday School teachers and serves on our worship team, and is also working on her Masters degree for reading and literacy, while Geoff grew up in the youth group, and now serves as the drummer on our worship team. They both share strong visions of what God is leading our youth to do in our community and in their lives. Their approach to youth ministry includes a variety of games, props, videos, and multimedia. Nicknames for the both of them are absolutely encouraged, Staci prefers "Slynn" while Geoff wholly embraces being called "Batman."
